Helena Morawa, née Bukowska, aged 92, passed away on March 7, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late Jan Morawa, and the loving mother of Aniela (the late Franciszek) Kwak, Helena (the late Stanislaw) Kiernia, Zofia (Tadeusz) Slaby, Jan (Danuta) Morawa, Wladyslaw (Janina) Morawa, and Tadeusz (Ewa) Morawa. Helena was the dearest grandmother of 19, great-grandmother of 29, and great-great-grandmother of 2. She was the cherished daughter of the late Maria (née Tatar) and the late Wojciech Bukowski, and the dear sister of Aniela Rafacz, Stanislaw Bukowski, and the late Wojciech and Jozef Bukowski. Helena is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Visitation to honor Helena will be held on March 9, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium in Justice, Illinois. The Funeral Prayers and Procession will commence on Monday, March 10, 2025, at 10:00 AM from the funeral home to Our Lady Mother of the Church Polish Mission in Willow Springs for an 11:00 AM Mass, followed by Interment at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice, Illinois.
