Viola M. Maurer, aged 83, of Chicago Ridge, has passed away on February 7, 2025. She was the beloved late wife of Thomas and the loving sister of Leona Steffenhagen and Lynn Casey. Maurer was also remembered as a devoted aunt, great-aunt, and great-great aunt to a large extended family. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 17, 2025, at Curley Funeral Home in Chicago Ridge followed by a funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Ridge Church. Maurer's interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Alsip. Donations in her memory can be made to Susan G. Komen.
