James P. Kane, aged 66, has passed away after bravely fighting cancer for six years. He is survived by his children, Dan, Liza, and Matt Kane, and was well-regarded as a devoted father. Kane was also acknowledged as a best friend, son, brother, and proud member of I.B.E.W. Local 134 for 43 years. Visitation is planned for Sunday, with a Funeral on Monday, both at Curley Funeral Home in Chicago Ridge. The Mass will be held at St. Catherine of Alexandria Church in Oak Lawn, followed by a private interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
