Mary “Maura” S. Szydlo, aged 90, passed away having been the beloved wife of the late Stanley Szydlo. She was a loving mother to Kevin, Patricia, Bernadette, Margaret, and John, as well as a proud grandmother to her grandchildren. Originally from Lifford, Co. Donegal, Ireland, Maura immigrated to the United States and pursued a career in nursing. Her dedication to healthcare included roles in New York City and Chicago, where she later worked at Little Company of Mary Hospital and the Cook County Department of Public Health. Maura had a passion for reading, painting, and travel. A visitation and Mass will take place at Most Holy Redeemer Church, with a live stream available for those unable to attend.
