The Ingalls Development Foundation is set to host the 2025 Promise of Hope Fashion Reveal, a charity luncheon and fashion show fundraiser. This event will take place at The Odyssey in Tinley Park, Illinois, on April 17th from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. It aims to support local access to care, world-class clinical trials, and comprehensive oncology care.

This year's event highlights Anne Cannon as the patient inspiration story. Cannon will share her journey of healing and hope to emphasize the celebration of cancer patients, caregivers, and service providers associated with UChicago Medicine Ingalls Memorial.

Additionally, Dr. Mark Kozloff will be honored for his significant contributions over a 40-year career as a clinical and research oncologist at Ingalls. Dr. Kozloff stated, “It’s been an amazing ride... I can’t imagine a more fitting platform to share my love of our patients and care for this community than attending the Promise of Hope.”

Dr. Kozloff has been instrumental in increasing African American enrollment in clinical trials at UCM Ingalls to nearly 50%, compared to less than 10% nationally.

The Promise of Hope event has raised over $2.8 million in its 27-year history for cancer research and oncology care at UChicago Medicine Ingalls Memorial. This year’s co-event sponsors include Rogers & Holland Jewelers and Synergy Behavioral Health.

Tickets are available for $100 per person online at https://e.givesmart.com/events/GeG/. The foundation encourages honoring cancer survivors by purchasing centerpiece memorials or program ads or making honorary or memorial gifts through their website ingallsfoundation.org/events/promise-of-hope/.

The Ingalls Development Foundation is a not-for-profit organization that connects donors with opportunities to enhance community health through investments in healthcare facilities and programs at Ingalls Memorial.
