Mary Rose Napoli, aged 87, of Blue Island / Midlothian, IL, peacefully passed away on February 28, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. A devout Catholic, Mary was an active member of SS. Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church, the Carmelite Third Order, and the Blue Army of Our Lady of Fatima. She worked at the Indiana Harbor Belt Railroad before retiring.

Known for her service as a Catholic Catechist and Lay Carmelite, Mary impacted numerous lives with her ministry. Loved for her wisdom, wit, and sense of humor, she was a treasured teacher, friend, aunt, and sister.

Mary is survived by her sisters, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and extended family. She is predeceased by her parents, eight siblings, and two brothers-in-law.

Visitation will be held on March 7, 2025, followed by prayers the next day at Maher Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Damian Church on March 8, 2025, with interment at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery.
