On Thursday, March 20, former Hillcrest High School standout Kamryn Thomas’ current collegiate team the Omaha Mavericks lost 83-53 against the St. John's Red Storm in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Amica Mutual Pavilion, this was the first game against the St. John's Red Storm during the championship.

Kamryn Thomas’ hometown is Chicago and game position is forward.
