Commissioner Morrison highlights amnesty week and grant program

Commissioner Sean Morrison shared several updates and opportunities in a series of tweets. His announcements ranged from local government initiatives to insights on state taxation.

On April 2, 2025, Morrison informed residents of an upcoming Amnesty Week for moving traffic violations. He noted that the event would occur from April 14-18, 2025. "Amnesty Week for moving traffic violations April 14-18."

In a second post on April 4, 2025, Morrison addressed small and mid-sized manufacturers, mentioning the Made in Illinois Grant Program. The program, aimed at promoting manufacturing growth, is set to be open for applications from April 15-30, 2025. "ATTENTION SMALL & MID-SIZED MANUFACTURERS: Fuel your manufacturing growth with the Made in Illinois Grant Program which opens April 15-30, 2025."

Later the same day, the commissioner suggested a reading on Illinois taxes, though he did not elaborate further on the subject. "Worth reading the perspective here on Illinois Taxes"
