Richard Hermosillo peacefully passed on March 25, 2025, transitioning from this life into the loving embrace of God. He is survived by his devoted wife, Roxane Hermosillo (née Schalasky), and leaves behind a legacy of love, joy, and partnership. Richard was a proud father to Celine, Tamera, Richard (Amanda), Jessica (Dwight), Aaron, and Adrienne (Bill), who held special places in his heart. He also cherished his role as a deeply loving grandfather to Delilah, Halina, Madelin, Lucie, Levi, Richie, Katelynn, Silas, Darren, Kendra, Kinley, Valyn, Liam, Layla, and Selena, and as a great-grandfather to Samson and Malakhai.

Remembered as a beloved brother and a significant member of the Delta House Alumni, Richard is also mourned and cherished by his siblings Joseph, Raul, Hildy, Trinidad, and Ruben, along with his extended family of nieces, nephews, and cousins whose lives he deeply impacted.

Richard's life and legacy will be celebrated by all who knew him. Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Saturday, April 5th, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hann Funeral Home, located at 8230 S Harlem Ave, Bridgeview, IL 60455.
