Sharon Rose Amato, 82, of Blue Island, passed away surrounded by family on April 5, 2025. She was known for her fun-loving spirit and zest for life. Sharon is survived by her husband Ralph H. Amato Jr, children Shawn Amato and Tina Stover, as well as grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She had a passion for nature, photography, and belly dancing, bringing joy and laughter wherever she went. Sharon was also an active member of the TOPS weight loss club, offering support and encouragement to others. Cremation will be private, and donations in her honor can be made to Dementia Awareness or NAWS in Mokena.
