Stephen Charles Woolery, 78, passed away at Northwestern Palos Hospital on March 30, 2025. Born in Effingham, Illinois, Stephen was known for his hard work, duty, and love for learning. He served in the US Army, pursued higher education, and had a fulfilling career supporting logistics programs for the US Army. A lover of animals, Stephen was especially kind to his pets and had a variety of furry and scaled companions throughout his life. He is survived by his children Laura, Aimee, Elizabeth, Charles, step-children Sherri and Mark, grandchildren, and siblings. A private celebration of his life will be held by the family.
