Maria E. (Taylor) Mannion, born on April 1, 1934, in Oliver’s Cross, Mallow, County Cork, Ireland, peacefully passed away on March 31, 2025. She emigrated to the United States in 1955. Maria was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Malachy Mannion. She is survived by her children Eileen, Angela, John, Adrienne, and Michael, and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Maria was known for her active involvement in various parish and community organizations, serving as a Eucharistic Minister, Treasurer, and Secretary for several groups. She was a founding member of Gaelic Park and the Galway Fellowship Club and dedicated much of her time to fundraising efforts for noble causes. Visitation will be on April 11, 2025, at Curley Funeral Home in Chicago Ridge, with the funeral service on April 12, 2025, at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Lemont.
