Deirdre M. Scott, aged 48, passed away after a valiant battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband Timothy, children Maeve and Griffin, father Patrick, siblings Mary, Patrick, Aileen, and Michele, and her loyal Goldendoodle companion Nellie. Deirdre was the beloved principal of the Spencer Trail Kindergarten program in New Lenox School District #122 for over 25 years, where she served as an educator and advocate for children.

Known as "The Warrior," Deirdre's courage and selflessness were exemplified through her participation in numerous cancer research trials, impacting countless lives. Her legacy of determination and altruism will endure for years to come. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten by all who knew her.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, with the funeral taking place on Wednesday at St. Michael Church. A live stream link will be available for the Mass. Deirdre will be laid to rest at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Christmas Without Cancer or Mulliganeers are appreciated.
