A. Approval of Ordinance 2025-05-1081O authorizing issuance of a tax increment financing revenue note for the site located at 15541 S. Cicero Avenue.

B. Approval of Resolution 2025-05-0489R approving a redevelopment agreement for the site located at Lamon Avenue and 157th Street (EM8 K Properties, LLC, Oak Forest) at 15701 Lamon Avenue and 4823 W. 157th Street. See attached memorandum with supporting details from Assistant Director of Community and Economic Development Paul Ruane.

C. Approval of Resolution 2025-05-0490R approving a second amendment to the redevelopment agreement for the site located at 15541 S. Cicero Avenue.

D. Approval of Resolution 2025-05-0491R authorizing a façade grant for commercial property owned by Modern Way Cleaners at 5230 W. 159th Street.

11. Public Works

A. Approval of contract with M&J Asphalt Paving Co. in the amount of $1,540,538.00 for the 2025 Motor Fuel Tax (MFT) Paving Program.

B. Approval of purchase of a new 2025 Western Star Vactor truck from Standard Equipment in the budgeted amount of $660,530.00.

C. Approval of the assignment of Easement Agreement between the City of Oak Forest and the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District (MWRD). 

D. Approval of the Locally Based Service Vehicle Program Agreement between the City of Oak Forest and Pace.

12. Fire Department

A. Approval of replacement and installation of fire alarm detection system – City Hall/Police/Building Department Complex in the budgeted amount of $218,798.00.

B. Approval of replacement and installation of the fire suppression system upgrade in the Police Department basement in the budgeted amount of $76,648.93.

13. Citizen Participation: The Oak Forest City Council invites public comment at its meetings, but it generally does not have the ability to provide an immediate response to some questions raised during the Citizens Participation portion of a council meeting without some reasonable opportunity to review them. Therefore, the City Council encourages questions to also be submitted in writing in the event that they need to be referred to City staff to help assure a more thoughtful and informed response. Individual comments are limited to three (3) minutes.
