Thornton - Forrest R. Struven, aged 75, of Thornton, Illinois, passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2025. He is survived by his beloved wife, Claudia Struven (nee Strassenburg), loving children Kirk Struven, Erik (Alyson) Struven, and Kristie (Regan) Ruchala, and devoted grandchildren Halie, Maxwell, Ashlie, Emma Rose, Ethan, Kenneth, Kaitlyn, and Kristopher.

Mr. Struven was a retired steelworker for Acme Steel and was cherished by his family. Private family services will be held, with interment at Homewood Memorial Gardens in Homewood, Illinois.
