Thomas William Carney, aged 61, from Oak Lawn, passed away on April 17, 2025. He was the beloved brother of Sean, Maureen, Rose Molnor, and James Carney; son of the late John M. Carney and the late Ann K. Carney (nee Hyland); uncle to Jason, Jaclyn, Garrett, Micaela (David) Angell, Georgia Molnor; and great-uncle to Genevieve Carney.

Visitation for Carney will be held on Monday, April 28, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., with the funeral scheduled for Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Curley Funeral Home in Chicago Ridge. The funeral will proceed to St. Linus Church in Oak Lawn for Mass at 11:00 a.m. The interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Alsip.
