Kevin Joseph O'Connor, aged 75, from Chicago, Illinois, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2025, surrounded by his family. O'Connor, a proud graduate of Mendel High School and Illinois Benedictine University, retired from DePaul University after 26 years. He was known for his love of history, sports, and family, especially his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and three sisters, including his twin sister Margaret Ann O'Connor. O'Connor is survived by his wife Mary P. O'Connor, children Katherine, Matthew, and Sarah, grandchildren Rose, Rowan, and Declan, as well as siblings, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with the funeral service scheduled for Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Rita of Cascia Shrine Chapel in Chicago. Interment will be held privately at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations can be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
