Myron I. "Ron" Strepka, a U.S. Marine Corps Scout Sniper Vietnam Veteran, passed away at the age of 77 on April 30, 2025. He is survived by his daughter Cari Strepka, son Arron Strepka, cherished grandchild Jordan Wenzel, and other family members.

Strepka's service to his country was marked by courage and bravery, both in the military and in supporting fellow veterans. He was honored on the Honor Flight to Washington, D.C., and initiated the Chicago White Sox's Gold Star Family Night to honor the families of fallen service members.

Visitation and the Funeral Service to honor Strepka will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at Colonial Chapel in Orland Park, IL, followed by interment with Military Honors at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are welcomed for America’s Gold Star Families. Strepka will be remembered for his humor, dedication, and love for his community.
