Tinley Park - Alice A. Jani, nee Butka, age 72, passed away on May 12, 2025, in Tinley Park, IL. She was a longtime parishioner of St. George Church and worked as a member of the AT&T Union. Alice enjoyed volunteering, elephants, and cherished spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband, Frank M. Jani, their children Frank J. (Jennifer) Jani and Nicole (Matthew) Hill, and grandchildren Sophia, Maggie, Gavin, and Charlotte. Alice was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Genevive Butka, and her brother, Daniel Butka. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at Vandenberg Funeral Home in Tinley Park. Prayers at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, will be followed by a Funeral Mass at St. George Church. Interment will be Private.
