Zenon Lauras, born Zenonas Laurinavicius in Šiauliai, Lithuania, on July 9, 1957, passed away on May 18, 2025. He was a deeply beloved father, husband, brother, and friend known for his integrity, warmth, and acts of kindness. Zenon dedicated his life to working with cars as a mechanic and later as a skilled diesel mechanic, showcasing unmatched passion and understanding of vehicles. Outside of work, he found joy in motorcycle riding, outdoor projects, and shooting firearms.

Zenon's greatest love was his four daughters: Zenona Laurinaviciute, Viktorija Laurinaviciute, and Elizabeth Lauras. His daughters meant the world to him, and he was known for his exceptional fatherhood, filled with play, reading, and adventures. Zenon's sense of humor, quick wit, and playful spirit brought laughter to all around him.

Zenon tragically passed away while motorcycle riding, a cherished activity he was enjoying with his crew. His memory will forever be cherished by those who loved him, carrying on his legacy of kindness, loyalty, and love. Zenon will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A Memorial Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, May 24, 2025, from 12 noon until 3:00 p.m. at Becvar & Son Funeral Home in Crestwood, Illinois.
