Obituary of Jose Ramirez | Krueger Funeral Home
Jose Ramirez, aged 92, of Blue Island, IL, passed away peacefully on May 24, 2025. He is survived by his partner Janet Espinosa, former wife Mary, children Jose “Kukie”, Marta Krug, Pedro “Pete”, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, adopted family, and brother Misael. Originally from Michoacan, Mexico, Ramirez came to America as a migrant worker and built a successful career as a welder. He valued education, earning his GED later in life and inspiring others to pursue higher education. Ramirez enjoyed golf and coaching soccer, and was deeply dedicated to his family. Visitation will be at Krueger Funeral Home on June 1st, with services at St. Benedict Church/St. Mary Magdalene Parish on June 2nd, followed by interment at St. Benedict Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to San Miguel School in Chicago.
