On Sunday, March 30, former Carl Sandburg High School standout Jimmy Burke’s current college team, the Creighton Bluejays, lost 5-0 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Samford Bulldogs.

The game took place at Joe Lee Griffin Field. This was their third matchup against the Bulldogs this season.

The Bluejays’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 1 at 2:30 p.m. at Hawks Field at Haymarket Park against Nebraska Cornhuskers.
