Raymond Jeffrey Skowronski, 75, passed away on his birthday, June 18, 2025, at his Minooka, Illinois home after bravely battling cancer. Born on June 18, 1950, in Chicago, Illinois, to Louis and Rose Skowronski, Raymond was known for his love and humor. He graduated from St. Rita Catholic High School and furthered his education at Roosevelt University, pursuing a career as a Quality Control Manager in the manufacturing industry. Raymond's commitment to excellence and diligence earned him admiration from colleagues. A devoted husband to Carol Skowronski (Bala), he is survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Raymond's faith was central in his life, guiding his actions and providing comfort during challenges. His siblings, Larry Skowronski and Mary Pauls, shared in his life's journey.Visitation is scheduled for Friday, June 20, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium in Justice, Illinois. The funeral will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025, with prayers and a procession starting at 8:30 a.m. from the funeral home to Saint Patricia Church in Hickory Hills for a 9:30 a.m. Mass. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice.
