Nick Peter Marino | John N. Maher Funeral & Legal Services

Nick P. Marino, aged 96, and a resident of Tinley Park, formerly of South Chicago, died recently. He was a retired member of the C.F.D. and a US Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. Marino is survived by his wife Barbara and children Paul, Beth, James, and Steven. He was the son of Samuel and Benedicta Marino and was predeceased by his seven siblings. Marino was a devoted grandfather and great-grandfather. Known for his love for the Chicago Fire Department, tennis playing, and support for the Chicago White Sox and Notre Dame football, he enjoyed socializing and had a passion for storytelling. Memorial details to be announced. Donations in Marino's memory can be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Society and the Chicago Fire Dept. Widow's and Orphan's Fund.
