It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Gale Ann Sammon (nee Frana) at the age of 70. She was the cherished wife of James Sammon and the former wife of Patrick McMahon. Gale was the loving daughter of the late Edwin and late Gloria Frana, and sister to the late Linda Smith, Edwin Frana, and James Frana. She was the loving mother of Brian McMahon and Christy Fassl, and adored grandmother of Leo and Lucy Fassl. Gale was also a beloved aunt and friend to many.

Her kind and gentle spirit touched the lives of all who knew her, leaving a lasting legacy of love and compassion.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2025, from 4:00PM to 8:00PM at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium in Justice, Illinois. The funeral service will take place on Friday, August 22, 2025, with a lying-in-state from 10:00AM to 11:00AM at Christ Lutheran Church in Orland Park, followed by the funeral service at 11:00AM. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Gardens South Cemetery in Oak Lawn, Illinois.

To honor Gale's memory, contributions can be made by sending flowers to the family or planting a tree in her name.
