Thomas Joseph Quinn Jr. passed away on August 19, 2025, surrounded by loved ones at the age of 72. He is survived by his devoted wife of 49 years, Cheryl, their beloved children Laura (Herbert) Keeler, Kathleen Quinn, and Carolyn Quinn, as well as cherished grandchildren Julia (Nate) Lewis, Matthew, and Sarah Keeler. Thomas is also remembered by siblings Peg (late David) Masino, Kathy (late Steve) Napoli, brother-in-law Kurt Olsson, numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Preceded in death by his grandson Ryan Keeler and siblings Mary Claire Olsson, twin brother Jimmy, and younger brother Michael, Thomas spent his days in Beverly, Chicago, forming lasting friendships with his neighbors. As a dedicated husband, father, and Amtrak employee for over 42 years, Thomas had a passion for trains and remained well-informed by reading newspapers daily. While he started as a Cubs fan, he later supported the White Sox, all while remaining a loyal Chicago Bulls supporter. Thomas' quick wit, relaxed nature, and kindness endeared him to all who crossed his path.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday starting at 11:00 A.M. until the time of the Chapel Service at 2:00 P.M. at Curley Funeral Home in Chicago Ridge, followed by interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Alsip.
