Marilyn Ozinga Istel, nee Seils, 100 years old, passed away. Wife of the late Richard Ozinga and the late Lawrence Istel, mother of Richard, James, and Dr. David Ozinga, grandmother of Jennifer, Kimberly, Jeffrey, late Julie, Kristen, Amy, Ryan, Dr. John, and Sean, great-grandmother of 11, sister of the late Lorraine Michael, step-mother of Linda Klier and Ed Istel, and aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Visitation on Friday, September 5, 2025, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Tinley Park, IL, from 2:00 p.m. until the Funeral Service at 4:00 p.m. Private burial at Evergreen Cemetery, Evergreen Park, Illinois.
