Orland Park - Lino Tijerina, a 90-year-old U.S. Army Veteran, passed away with his family by his side. Lino was a dedicated husband of 66 years to Olga Tijerina and a loving father to Sandy, Sonia, and the late Lino Jr. and Lino III. He was a cherished grandfather to Nicholas, Lino, Kristen, Lisette, Victoria, and Ashley.

Lino will be remembered as a dear brother, a special brother, and an adored uncle to many nieces and nephews. He devoted 40 years of loyal service to Superior Graphite before his retirement.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 3-8 p.m., with a funeral service taking place on Wednesday at Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home, followed by Mass at St. Patricia Church and entombment at Resurrection Mausoleum.
