Mark Ward, retired CFD Battalion Chief, husband of Mary Kay for 57 years, father of Mark, Katherine Gallagher, and Molly Ward, and grandfather of Mark, Danny, Abby, Grace, Libbey, and Maggie, passed away at 85. He served with the Chicago Fire Department for 32 years and was involved with various firefighter organizations. Visitation will be held on September 11, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Curley Funeral Home, with the funeral on September 12, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery.
