Guadalupe M. Cardoso, 91, remembered for her devotion to family

Guadalupe M. Cardoso, age 91, beloved wife of the late Ruben R. Cardoso, peacefully passed away on Friday, September 12, 2025, surrounded by her loving children. She is survived by her cherished children Ruben (Irma), Roger (Yonit Andrea), Rita (Marco), and Rene. Guadalupe was also adored by her beloved grandchildren Ruben Jr. (Kendy), Ricardo, Cristal Guadalupe+, Esmeralda (Octavio), Miguel Angel, and Alejandrina, as well as her great-grandchildren Noah, Ethan, Emma, and Matias.

She was the beloved daughter of the late Pascual Moreno Quintana and late Lucina Gomez Ruiz, and was loved by all her family and numerous friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025, at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium in Justice, Illinois. The funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Saint Rita of Cascia Church in Chicago, Illinois, followed by interment at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice, Illinois.
