The Village of Evergreen Park will hold its third annual Community Leaf Raking event on Saturday, November 15, starting at 10:00 AM. The event seeks volunteers to help rake leaves for seniors and other residents who are unable to do so themselves.
Organizers encourage students in need of service hours to participate. Residents who are seniors, veterans, or disabled can submit their addresses to receive assistance during the event. According to the announcement, "Priority will be given to seniors, veterans, and disabled residents, however you are welcome to request the service if you have an additional need."
The event aims to support those in the community who may not be able to manage yard work on their own. Both volunteers and residents seeking assistance are invited to sign up.
