Dennis Roy Hermosillo, born on August 7, 1958, in Oak Park, Illinois, departed on October 8, 2025, from Romeoville, Illinois, after a courageous battle with cancer. Known for his joy, laughter, and love, Dennis touched many lives with his passion and humor.

Dennis was the beloved husband of Lisa Hermosillo, a loving father to Elizabeth and the late Kathryn Hermosillo, and cherished son of the late Arlene and Lawrence Hermosillo. He leaves a legacy of love and wisdom as a brother, son-in-law, and brother-in-law. Dennis was a custodian with District 109 in Justice, Illinois, for 40 years, showcasing diligence, reliability, and community pride.

A man of faith, Dennis embodied Christian virtues and enjoyed music, comic book collecting, and history. His humor, love, and passion endeared him to all who knew him, bringing laughter and warmth wherever he went.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13, 2025, at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium in Justice, Illinois, followed by a funeral on Tuesday, October 14, 2025. Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice, Illinois.
