Virgen Perez-Dormann, 65, of Woodridge, Illinois, passed away on October 14th, 2025. She was the beloved wife of Peter Dormann for 26 years and the heart of a large and loving family. Virgen was the devoted daughter of the late Antonio and Antonia Perez and cherished sister to Angel Luis Perez, Maria Isabel Nieves, Antonio Perez Jr., and the late Aida Rodriguez and Marisol Perez.

She held a special place in her heart for her nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, and great-grand nieces and nephews. Virgen took on the role of Godmother to Angel Luis Perez III, a bond she valued deeply. She was a loyal friend and dear sister-in-law and had an unwavering love for her pets, with whom she shared her nurturing spirit.

Virgen had a deep passion for life, finding joy in traveling, experiencing new cultures, cooking delicious meals for family gatherings, and dancing her way through celebrations and quiet moments at home. Her kind, generous, and joyful spirit left an indelible mark on all who knew her, bringing love and warmth to every interaction.

Visitation will be held on Saturday and Sunday from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will take place on Monday, starting at 9:00 a.m. from Curley Funeral Home, proceeding to St. Bede the Venerable Church for a 10:00 a.m. Mass. Interment will be private.

To celebrate Virgen's vibrant personality, guests are encouraged to wear colorful attire to honor her joyful spirit.
