Orland Park, IL, Oct. 28, 2025 – Mary Kay Monahan, born August 16, 1939, in Madison, Wisconsin, passed away at Smith Crossing in Orland Park. She is survived by her husband Martin John Monahan, children Robert Monahan and Jean Marie Halweg, grandchildren Cody and Travis Odom, Ryan, Zachary, and Rachel Monahan, and great-grandchildren Troy and River Odom. Mary was a graduate of Edgewood University and enjoyed quilting, collecting dolls, thimbles, and spoons, as well as boating and traveling. Visitation and funeral service will be held at Resurrection Cemetery in Madison, Wisconsin, on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. Donations can be made in her memory to St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Homewood, IL, or Emilie’s Fund at Smith Crossing, Orland Park.
