CAAN Academy of Nursing enrolls 60 undergrads

At CAAN Academy of Nursing, 62 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 100 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The private not-for-profit school in Matteson enrolled 60 students in fall 2017, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. No undergraduates were transferred from another college or university.

100 percent of undergraduates are residents of Illinois.

The undergraduate student body is comprised of students who identify as Black or African American (98 percent) and two or more races (2 percent).
