Unpaid fines for Ford Heights-based campaign committees totaled $5,200 in August 2018

Campaign committees in Ford Heights collectively owe a total of $5,200 in fines, according to records obtained from the Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE).

A detailed review of individual fines revealed that two committees in Ford Heights were delinquent in payment for August 2018.

The Ford Heights-based committee with the largest total in unpaid fines was Citizens to Elect 169 Write-Ins, which owes a total of $5,000.

The fine that Citizens to Elect 169 Write-Ins has yet to pay was imposed on May 21, 2014, for failure to comply.
