Report: Dolton School District spent $15,097 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Dolton School District 149 was up 5.9 percent from five years ago, according to the South Cook News analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Cook County school district spent $14,260 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $15,097 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 2,867 to 2,561 students over the same period.

Dolton's spending in 2019-20 was 4.2 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
