Report: Harvey School District spent $14,526 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Harvey School District 152 was up 23.3 percent from five years ago, according to the South Cook News analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Cook County school district spent $11,782 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $14,526 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 2,249 to 1,809 students over the same period.

Harvey's spending in 2019-20 was 0.2 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
