The Governors State men's cross country team received a boost today with the signing of high school senior Russell Ward to a National Letter of Intent for the 2022 season.

Reason for Choosing GSU: "After visiting, the campus felt comfortable, and with it being closer to home, there was a familiarity aspect that added to the reassurance that I could succeed. They have a great program for me to advance my education and prepare for what I want to do in the future."
