For the second time in his career, senior Patrick Guilfoyle has been named to the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Golf All-Academic Team. Guilfoyle also achieved all-academic honors during the 2021 season.
The CCAC All-Academic Team recognizes student-athletes with cumulative grade-point averages above 3.25 (entering the Spring 2022 term) who have been enrolled for one academic year and have completed at least 30 semester hours.
A business management major, Guilfoyle produced the team's second-lowest scoring average (78.9) this season and finished as the Jaguars' low scorer at the CCAC Championships. He recorded three Top-3 finishes, highlighted by an individual title at the season-opening Troll Classic.
Guilfoyle appeared in all 11 tournaments in 2021-22 and shot a season-low 1-under-par 70 at the St. Francis Fall Classic in September. His 79.4 scoring average over two seasons ranks fourth-best on GSU's career list.
