Trinity Golf picked up a pair of third-place results on Monday, as the men's and women's squad competed at the CCAC Fall Preview Cup, at Cinder Ridge Golf Course.

Freshman Ricardo Serpa and sophomore Caitlin Parrish continued to lead the Trolls, as the duo both posted their team's low score for the fifth time this fall. Parrish finished with a top-three result, shooting 86 (+14) for a third-place result in the women's event, while Serpa continued his streak of five straight top-ten finishes, with a score of 78 (+6).
Ashley Keen picked up Trinity's other top-ten result on the day, shooting 92 (+20) to place T-7th for the women's team. Delaney Bullington place T-11th with a score of 96 (+24), while Jenna Goss came two strokes shy of her season best, shooting 101 (+29) to place 17th.
In the men's competition, Randy Miller shot Trinity's second-best score, finishing T-12th after a round at 83 (+11). Joshua Smith shot an 84 (+12) to place T-15th, while Spencer Rice and Jack Bullington each tied at T-19th with a score of 89 (+17).
Trinity's men combined for a team score of 334 (+46), while the women posted a 375 (+87) as both squads finished third out of six and five teams, respectively.
The Trolls close out the fall portion of the 2022-23 schedule in two weeks, when the women's team along as well as Serpa as an individual will compete in the NCCAA Men's and Women's Golf National Championships, held at the Hammock Beach Resort in Palm Coast, Fla. The three-day event starts on Monday, October 24.
