There were 25 white students enrolled in Matteson Elementary School District 162 in the 2021-22 school year, 16.7% less than the previous year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education report.

Data showed that Matteson Elementary School District 162 welcomed 2,729 students during the 2021-22 school year. Among them, white students comprised 1.1% of the student body to be the least represented ethnicity in the district.
