Orland Park, IL - James C. "Jim" Parnitzke, 71, passed away on November 26, 2024. Beloved husband of Kathy (neé Brown) and loving father of Eric Parnitzke and Krystle Schultz. He was the cherished papa of Laini, Kora, Taylor, Silas, Braylee, and Austin, and the dear great papa of Aryn, Camden, and Liam. Jim was the caring brother of John (Angie) and Katina (Don), and a fond son of the late Carl and Helen Parnitzke. He was a beloved uncle, cousin, and friend to many.

Fondly known from Par's Appliance as Mr. Fix It, Jim was always ready to lend a helping hand to all in need. His generous spirit and dedication to fixing things for others will be greatly missed by those who knew him.

A visitation will be held on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 12:00 p.m. at Lawn Funeral Home in Orland Park. Jim will be laid to rest at Mt. Vernon Memorial Estates.
