In the 2023-24 school year, 13.5% of the students in West Harvey-Dixmoor Public School District 147 passed the ELA portion of the Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR), according to the Illinois State Board of Education.

Of the 458 students in West Harvey-Dixmoor Public School District 147 who took the ELA portion of the test, approximately 62 (13.5%) passed.

The percentage of West Harvey-Dixmoor Public School District 147 students who met or exceeded expectations on the IAR increased by 4.4% compared to the previous school year.

This decline is significantly higher than the typical annual decreases of 0.5% to 1.5% observed in the preceding years, reflecting broader demographic shifts within the state.
