Meridith L. Lopez, aged 79, passed away on April 30, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late John Lopez, devoted mother of Mathew Lopez C.P.D., and the late Michael R. Lopez C.F.D. Meridith was a loving mother-in-law to Kathleen and cherished aunt "Merna" to many nieces and nephews.

A memorial visitation will take place on Thursday, May 15, 2025, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Curley Funeral Home in Chicago Ridge. Interment will be private at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Diabetes Association in memory of her late son Michael Lopez are appreciated.
