Matteson, IL - Patrick Stack, 62, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Known affectionately as Pat, he was described as the hardest working man who passed on Labor Day. A devoted husband and father, Pat was known for his kindness, warmth, and friendly demeanor that touched all who knew him. His greatest joy was being a grandfather to his three granddaughters, bringing him immense happiness.

A man of few words but boundless love, Pat encouraged confidence in his children, treasured family time on boat trips along the Mississippi River, and never missed a game. He shared a loving marriage of 38 years with his wife, Kathryn "Katie" Miller, built on love, laughter, and friendship.

Pat is survived by his wife Katie, children Patrick, Maggie, and Kyle, granddaughters Reign, Isabella, and Olivia, siblings Kate, Sean, Margaret, and sister-in-law Nancy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Christina Stack, and brother Edward Stack. A visitation will be held at Vandenberg Funeral Home in Tinley Park, with funeral services at Disciples Church in Tinley Park.

Memorial donations in Patrick's name can be made to Disciples Church. Patrick Stack will be fondly remembered for his love of family, encouragement, and the warmth he shared with all.
