Michael W. "Mike" Sauerwein Remembered as Beloved Husband, Father, and Grandpa

Michael W. "Mike" Sauerwein, 59, passed away on October 10, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Lisa Sauerwein, nee Moline, and the loving father of Joey, Nicholas (Daisy), and Jessica. He was the dear grandfather of Scarlett and the cherished son of Brenda and the late George Sauerwein. Mike was also the brother of Steve (Laura), Laura Vilcek, and Kevin (Jill). He is survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

A Visitation and Time of Remembrance will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium in Justice, Illinois, with the funeral service time pending. Cremation rites will be accorded for interment.

To honor Mike's memory, contributions can be made by sending flowers or planting a tree through the floral store.
