Lansing, IL - Janet M. Matthys, 65, of Lansing, IL, passed away on Sunday, October 12. Survived by her sister Linda Seward, twin sister Judy Matthys, brother Mike Matthys, and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her son Evan, parents John and Rhoda Matthys, and brother Mark. Janet worked as a finance director and was a member of the Government Finance Officers Association. She was a dedicated fan of the Chicago Bears, Blackhawks, and White Sox. Memorial donations in her name can be made to the Misericordia Foundation either online or by mail. Janet will be remembered as a beloved sister, aunt, and friend. Sympathy store is available to send flower arrangements in her memory.
