Illinois residents paid $9,426 to attend the two-year public institution this year $210 more than the $9,216 charged for 2016-17.
Non-resident students would have paid 16.2 percent more than residents this year, or $10,956. Non-resident tuition and fees grew 2.5 percent from $10,686 in 2016-17.
About 98 percent of the school's undergraduate population are Illinois residents. And about 1 percent are citizens of other countries.
Data shows 58 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 865 students received grants or scholarships totaling $4.46 million and 184 students took out student loans totaling more than $795,797.
Including all undergraduates, 4,916 students used grants or scholarships totaling $23.8 million. Another 968 took out $5.25 million in federal student loans.
