Trenz Beauty Academy enrolls 125 undergrads

At Trenz Beauty Academy, 57 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 98 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The private for-profit school in Calumet City enrolled 125 students in fall 2017, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. No undergraduates were transferred from another college or university.

74 percent of undergraduates are residents of Illinois, and 26 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised of students who identify as Black or African American (98 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (2 percent).
